BioBiography:
There are many things one could say about Inui after his time in middle school - but the way he would have described how he felt afterwards was discontented. He didn't want to go to high school with his friends, nor did he feel like following down a path that would most probably be a direct repeat of middle school. While he looks back on those days as a wonderful experience, he wasn't about to repeat them, mostly because there was no greater purpose in it (and no broadening of his own experience, either). To him, such a decision was only logical.
Subsequently, Inui practically dropped off the face of the planet as far as anyone was concerned.
For further clarification, his father acquired a job overseas, and faced with the choice of leaving the country or staying, Inui chose to leave with him, enrolling in the military school his father was to work at. Inui believed this to be a good course of action at the time (and it was). However, after graduating the academy high school, he was faced with the university that was attached to it. Enrolling in the university would require him to enlist in one of the three military forces of that country, and Since since Inui was not a citizen and never intended to be, it had become a rather large conflict of interest.
This meant that it was time to return to Japan.
Upon his return, Inui researched the available universities (as any person with a concern for their education would), and decided that Hajime had the most accessible facilities and the best curriculum for the qualifications that he wished to obtain. As a result, he put in his application and is preparing to enroll for the upcoming semester (due to varying educational systems, he is a late transfer into the current academic year).
Personality:
Inui's personality is much the same as it was when he left, though his tendency to be antisocial is greater now than it ever was before he left Japan. The reason for this? He wasn't well received in a foreign country, to say the least, especially with his inability to speak decent English at first. From the social seclusion (and being 'that creepy Asian'), his affinity for electronics only got stronger. Of course, with this in mind, he spent most of those high school years in his room or a shop room building projects rather than socialising. He now he plans to move into research and development of modern robotics and AI, specialising in neural networking.
His sense of routine and ruthless efficiency was only strengthened by his high school experience, but due to his constantly active thought processes, he has developed insomnia. He attributes his sleep disorder to the inability to shut down the higher functioning capacities in his brain (which is something that he currently looking to remedy, with little to no success).
